The White Album

How we do it.

When the Recording Studio mastering is finished, Masters are then shipped to our agents for approval before finished pressings for labeling and packing. CD glass masters are produced from a pre production master and then pressed. It usually takes two to three weeks for test pressings to be prepared. Whilst test pressings are being prepared, artwork and labels designed by White are sent to our Agents. Our Agents then recreate label artwork and send back to the White for approval. There are two reasons for this one is so that both computer programs and systems are perfectly reading each others information and artwork correctly and the second is to eliminate any human errors either party could make. When label artwork is approved by the our graphic designers, our Agents can then prepare the label artwork masters for manufacturing by Deluxe. Deluxe was formerly known as EMI's own pressing plant and is the largest in Europe and so serves the whole of Europe. Although Bootleg Records also owned by Allan Robinson has been a client of EMI's manufacturing for over ten years he has found it is more cost effective and able to reach a higher level of service to have a special relationship between our Agent, White and Deluxe. Together we produce an effective team with a six to eight week turnaround, whilst even the Giants of the Industry with their millions of pounds are muscling and struggling to release 4 singles a year (twelve week turnaround) for their own major artistes. Therefore the manufacturing of the White Promotional Album is of the same quality as every other Major Record Label and International Artiste(s) in the world. Once CD pressings are completed they are then sleeved, boxed and shipped to White® for Distribution.
